Data processed, purposes and legal basis
Contact form. When you send a request from the Contact page, the data you enter is processed: full name, company, email, phone, product of interest and message. The data is used to answer your request and to follow up on any business negotiations. The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures at the request of the data subject (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Providing your name, email and message is necessary to receive a reply; the other fields are optional.
Browsing data. The server hosting the website automatically records technical data such as IP address, date and time of the request, requested page and browser type. This data is processed for the operation and security of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest) and is not used to profile users.
Recipients of the data
The data is accessible to authorised MediPesca staff and to the providers that manage the website. The website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. (United States), which also processes the messages sent through the contact form as a data processor. Transfers to the United States take place on the basis of the instruments provided for by the GDPR (Data Privacy Framework adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses). The data is not disclosed or sold.
Retention
Form data is kept for as long as needed to answer the request and, if a business relationship follows, for the periods required by law. Browsing data is kept by the hosting provider only for as long as strictly necessary for the security and operation of the service.
Rights of the data subject
You can request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and portability, and you can object to processing (Arts. 15-22 GDPR) by writing to info@medipesca.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it).
Cookies
The website does not set profiling cookies, nor third-party analytics or advertising cookies. Fonts, icons, images and videos are served by the website itself, without calling external services, so there is no cookie consent banner. The company address links to Google Maps: by opening the link you leave the website and Google’s policies apply.
If statistical analysis tools or third-party content are introduced in the future, this notice will be updated and, where required, consent will be requested.
